APPLICANT REQUESTS THAT:

The Fitness Assessment (FA), dated 16 Mar 11 be declared void and removed from the Air Force Fitness Management System (AFFMS).

APPLICANT CONTENDS THAT:

The 374 Air Wing Commander (AW/CC) sent out a letter to all installation personel on 21 Mar 2011, 
stating that fitness testing was suspended from 11 Mar 2011 until further notice and all members would be exempt.  
Additionally, per a staff member of the 374 FSS/FSVS, all FAs that were taken during the fitness testing suspension were removed from AFFMS, except for his.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

The applicant is currently serving in the Regular Air Force in the grade of Staff Sergeant (E-5). 

On 16 Mar 11, the applicant participated in a FA, attaining an overall composite score of 41.60, which constituted an “unsatisfactory” assessment.  
The applicant was credited with the following component scores:  
Cardio (walk test) – 33/15.50, Abdominal Circumference – 39.00”/12.60 points, Push-ups – 34/7.00 points, Sit-ups – 40/6.50 points.

AIR FORCE EVALUATION:

AFPC/DPSIM recommends denial and states, the evidence provided by the applicant does not substantiate his claim.  DPSIM states, 
the applicant has not provided documentation from the Unit Commander indicating his/her decision to invalidate the contested FA.

APPLICANT'S REVIEW OF AIR FORCE EVALUATION:

A copy of the Air Force evaluation, with attachment, was forwarded to the applicant on 18 Oct 13 for review and comment within 30 days.  
As of this date, no response has been received by this office (Exhibit C).

THE BOARD CONCLUDES THAT:

1.	The applicant has exhausted all remedies provided by existing law or regulations.

2.	The application was timely filed.

3.	Insufficient relevant evidence has been presented to demonstrate the existence of error or injustice.  
Although the applicant contends the 374th Air Wing Commander (AW/CC) suspended all fitness assessments for installation personnel from 11 Mar 2011 until 
further notice, he provides no documentation to support his claim. Therefore, we find no basis to recommend granting the relief sought in this application.

THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT:

The applicant be notified the evidence presented did not demonstrate the existence of material error or injustice; 
the application was denied without a personal appearance; and the application will only be reconsidered upon the submission of newly discovered relevant 
evidence not considered with this application.
